Lochgelly Fire Station Cuts
Join the Campaign
🚨 Plans are underway to remove a Fire Engine, 20 Crew and one of Scotland’s only 4 Rope Rescue Units from Lochgelly Fire Station. This means slower emergency responses, fewer resources, and greater risk to public and firefighter safety.
🏞️ The Rope Rescue Unit rescue people from cliffs, rivers, industrial sites—and we’re being told they’re no longer needed here?
🔥 Fife has already lost 2 Fire Engines and a Height Appliance. Not just Lochgelly, but the surrounding communities will also be impacted by the proposed cuts to the service.
Every community deserves equal access to emergency services.
We’re calling on the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service to keep Lochgelly fully operational with 2 Fire Engines, Rope Rescue Unit and 45 Firefighters.
📣 Stand with us. Speak out. Save our station.
Here's how you can help.
